The Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to education. In 2025, the Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation will mark its ninth year of contributing to education in Indonesia. This program has become an important pillar in cross-border academic cooperation.

As part of its regular agenda, the foundation provides full support to outstanding students from the University of Indonesia (UI) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This support is expected to stimulate students to continue innovating, particularly in the fields of science and pharmacy. The continuation of the program into its ninth year confirms that investing in young talent from the nation’s two best universities is the foundation’s top priority in shaping future leaders.

Bright smiles lit up the faces of the beneficiaries on campus today. Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, was a happy day for the outstanding students who received scholarships symbolically from Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation officials.

More than just financial assistance, these scholarships represent a vote of confidence in local potential. Ten outstanding students from the pharmacy faculty are seen as the hope for the advancement of the pharmaceutical world in the next 5 to 10 years. It is through their skilled hands that the challenges of the healthcare world—from achieving self-sufficiency in pharmaceutical raw materials to biotechnology research—are expected to be addressed as they pursue their studies.

This scholarship is designed as a “catalyst” for pharmacy students to go beyond traditional academic boundaries and dive into the field of cutting-edge research. Ten students from each campus are being prepared to become the answer to national drug ingredient independence and biotechnology development in the coming decade. Through this support, the Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation is building a golden bridge connecting Indonesia’s local potential with global standards of excellence.

This event sends a strong message to the healthcare world: that the future of global pharmacy is not only built in large laboratories, but begins in the lecture halls of University of Indonesia (UI) and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). It is in the hands of these 20 students that the face of healthcare in the next 5 – 10 years will be determined.
